Establishment and Accreditation:

The Islamic University in Uganda was established in 1988 as a project of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). It received its charter from the Ugandan government in 1988, granting it legal status and the authority to offer degree programs.

Location:

The main campus of the Islamic University in Uganda is situated in Mbale, a town in the eastern part of Uganda. Additionally, the university has several other campuses and regional centers across the country, including Kampala, Arua, Kabojja, and Females’ Campus in Kabojja.
