I have No Side in UMA Polls – Bobi Wine

National Unity Platform Party (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has cleared the air after confirming that he has no side in UMA polls.

When Bobi Wine signed Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) nomination forms for King Saha, the general feeling was that he was backing King Saha for the Presidency of the association.

In an interview, Bobi Wine disclosed that he supports neither of the artists in the race because they are both his friends.

“Government wants to divide us so they are putting us against each other. They want you to believe that King Saha is for one party, and Cindy is for another. This is a bad situation they are creating. They don’t care about artists. They want to kill this industry because they know by promoting the music industry, another person like me will emerge,” he says.

Cindy is said to have ties with the government while King Saha is linked to opposing forces.
