How to apply online for WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Short Courses at Makerere University, 2020

Due to the increasing demand for water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services in Uganda particularly in local government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the private sector, Makerere University designed a program to meet the demand.

This course is aim at equip practicing individuals with appropriate attitudes, adequate skills and scientific knowledge for handling and managing duties and technical procedures in WASH.

Competence areas of the course include WASH promotion, disease prevention and control, management and administration of WASH services in community, research and training.

The course runs for 8-weeks.

The 2020 intake is now open until 30th April 2020, scheduled to run from 25th May to 17th July 2020.

Participants will pay tuition fees of 900,000 Uganda shillings for Ugandans and 500 US dollars for Internationals.
