Health Benefits of Using Coconut Oil

Apart from consuming it, coconut oil has various health benefits. This oil can be used in cosmetics such as soap, lotions, and toothpaste.  Coconut contains some acids vitamins, calcium, and magnesium, which have antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties.

To experience the following health benefits, you are recommended to use organic, virgin coconut oil, not the refined one. The oil can be added to coffee or tea, yogurt, and can be used for baking. Below are some of the health benefits when you use coconut oil;

Improves immunity, coconut contains acids which are antifungal, antibacterial and have antiviral properties. This oil improves bacteria and gut health by destroying bad bacteria and candida.

Coconut oil improves digestion by helping the body absorb fat-soluble vitamins, calcium, and magnesium, the saturated fats in it help in dealing with various bacteria, fungi, parasites that can cause indigestion.
