Graduands are required to:
1. Pay the following graduation-related fees: Graduation, 100,000/=; Convocation, 10,000/=; Transcript, 10,000/= and Certificate, 10,000/=.
2. Follow the steps below to make payments:
a). Open any internet browser (e.g., Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Safari).
b). On the address bar, type pay.gu.ac.ug to access the Universal Payment Portal.
c). Fill in your full name, email address, telephone number, and student number/registration number.
d). Click Continue.
e). Select the following items for graduation-related fees: Certificate Fees, Convocation Fees, Graduation Fees, and Transcript Fees.
f). Click Generate Reference to view the invoice (NOTE: The total amount on the invoice DOES NOT include bank charges).
g). Print the invoice OR correctly copy the Payment Reference Number and present it as you pay the fees to any branch or agent of the banks integrated with the URA system.
3. Collect the Clearance Form from your Faculty/Institute Registrar or access it on the University website www.gu.ac.ug.
4. Clear with the following offices: Head of Department and/or Faculty Dean/Institute Director, Dean of Students, University Librarian, Gulu University Police Station, and University Bursar, and submit the Clearance Form to the Transcript Office, Department of Academic Registrar, by 10th February 2023.
5. Provide their own gown from authorized vendors. Samples, with respective Faculty/Institute colours, can be viewed at the Admissions Office, Department of Academic Registrar.
6. Collect graduation materials from 20th – 23rd February 2023; from the Admissions Office, Department of Academic Registrar.

In addition, COVID-19 SOPs including wearing a mask, social distancing, and washing hands with soap or sanitizing shall be strictly observed.
