We are hiring 10 internship students to join our lab for a period of 4-6 months. Successful projects and great interns will be matched for a long-term commitment.
Internship students will be attached to a project depending on their skill. They will be assigned to a team that will work on deliverables for the duration of the internship. Interns must commit for a period of 4-6 months depending on the project.
Qualifications
Junior interns: Have completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, statistics, Nursing, Medicine and surgery or related field.
Senior interns: Have completed / pursuing a master’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data science, Business Administration, medicine, Public health or related field
Skills required
You will need to show: communication and interpersonal skills, analytical skills, the ability to use initiative, the capacity to work under pressure, creativity, drive, flexibility, numeracy, teamwork, influencing and negotiation skills, oral and written skills, business awareness and IT literacy.
Work location
The internship programme will take place at iStreams office located on High Street Mbarara Plot 76/78 La Grande Mall RM L2-03 (Opposite Hotel Classic)
