Veteran female gospel musician Florence Rukundo will this weekend stage corporate musical dinner concert.
Rukundo, who is also the brain behind Rukundo Open Hearts Organization (ROHO), a charity organization catering for the poor, orphans, and less privileged reveals that the dinner will happen on Saturday at Emerald Hotel in the city center
The versatile musician has through the years staged her annual concert named ‘Ekibbo ky’omwaka’ but this year, Rukundo is back with something different and unique from the usual.
Rukundo joined the gospel circuit in 2004 when she dropped the hit song, Bwakka, reveals that her fans should expect a rejuvenated performance following the three-year lull which was precipitated by the Covid-19 lockdown.
“They (fans) should expect the best. We have had ample time to prepare and rehearsals are done,” she said.
She reveals that proceeds from the event will be injected into the charity organization as there is dire need at the moment.
