How Fourth Year Makerere University Student Ended His life Over 18million Bet Loss

Makerere University fourth year student has taken his life after loosing to online network marketing.

Ashraf Nsubuga, committed suicide with a rope tied on his room doorknob at White House, an extension of Nsibirwa Hall on Sunday afternoon while his roommate was out to attend church service.

“By the time he got back he found the door locked. He tried to peep through the window and saw someone hanging,” Makerere University guild president Julius Kateregga  said.

According to close pals, the deceased had earlier lost over 18 million to ponzi scheme. Nsubuga was on government scholarship pursuing a Bachelor of Sceinces in Medical Radiology.

“Nsubuga’s body was found hanging on a rope tied on the door in his room. Teams from Wandegeya and Makerere police stations visited the scene and conveyed the body to the Mulago Hospital mortuary for post-mortem,” Luke Owoyesigire, the Kampala metropolitan spokesperson.

However, police is still investigating to piece-up the puzzle on the circumstances that could have led  to the students’s death.
