Former Makerere University student Dies in Boda Boda Accident

On 09th of March 2020, a former Makerere University student identified as Ritah Nahurira was involved in a motorcycle accident that costed her life.

Ritah Nahurira was a student in the Quantitative Economics class at Makerere University, she graduated in the 69th graduation ceremony.

According to sources, the motorcycle Ritah was sitted on hit a hump and the rider lost control which caused them to fall. However, she was immediately run over by the rear tyres of a truck and she died instantly. Both the motorcyclist and the driver drove away unidentified.

Nahurira will be buried today 10th of march 2020 at 4 pm in Kanungu, southwestern Uganda after a funeral service at St. Charles Lwanga, Jinja Karoli Parish, Kawempe.

Nahurira’s friends described her as gentle and sweet.
