Former Makerere Guild Contestant Prize Mari in UNSA Presidential Race

 

Former Makerere University guild president contestant, Prize Mari Ahimbisibwe is among the candidates in the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA) leadership.

The 22 year old ambitious politician looks forward to becoming the new UNSA vice president in the elections due to take place from 9th to 13th January 2019 at Mbarara High School in Mbarara District between  during the annual conference.

The last year’s NRM flag bearer in the Makerere guild race believes women lack representation in the association which she intends to outdo.

After failing in the makerere guild elections, Prize served as the Vice Chairperson of Makerere University School of Women and Gender Studies.

Prize Mari has also served on the Makerere University Hult Prize Organising Committee whose patron is former US President Bill Clinton and focuses on building future leaders.


Mari is a resident of Kambuga Sub County in Kanungu District and is currently a 3rd Year Social Sciences student at Makerere University and pursues First Year Law student at Kampala International University as well.
