FDC’s German Amanya Voted Kyambogo University Guild President 2018/2019

German Amanya, the new Kyambogo University Guild President 2018/2019

German Amanya has been voted the new Guild President of Kyambogo University for the year 2018/2019.

He was announced winner by Robert Asiimwe, the chairperson university Electoral Commission after getting 3,701 votes out of 8,451 total votes cast.

He has been the flag-bearer for Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party.

He beat Paul Opesen who turned second with 2,137 votes while Eddy Akena was third with 1,013 votes.

Amanya is a second year student studying a bachelor’s course in Accounting and Finance.
