Fans not to watch Nkumba-Kyambogo replay.

By Mugote Michael

Following the 75th minute abandoned Nkumba University versus Kyambogo University match in the 2nd leg game a fortnight ago, the six University league organizers have called for a replay game which will be played at a neutral ground on Saturday 10th November 2012.

According to the game’s coordinator, Tumwesigye  Anthony, the game has to be replayed today but the venue will be communicated a few hours to the kickoff  of the match. Tumwesigye responded via a phone call.  Fans of both teams started fighting before the end of the game. They threw stones to the players in the pitch a thing that forced the forced center referee to stop the match prematurely. Kyambogo buses went back with smashed glasses and they looked like tourist vans heading to Kodepo National park. This game was played at Nkumba university sports ground in Entebbe. By the time the game was called off, it was 1-1.

The organizing committee has thus decided that the replay will be played behind closed doors and fans will not be allowed to have access to where this match will be played apart from players, team officials and scribes.
