Express FC holds Vipers Sports Club in Uganda Premier League

Vipers Sports Club was on Wednesday held by Express FC at Wankulukuku Stadium in Star Times Uganda Premier League.

Express FC went ahead via the spot kick that was taken by Tony Odur after Ibrahim Kayiwa was brought down by Vipers defenders Fred Okot and Geoffrey Wasswa.

Vipers had a chance to equalize through striker Dan Sserunkuma but failed to convert from the spotkick. The paenalty came after  Express defender Isaac Mutanga handled the ball in the box.

However, Vipers continued pushing for an equalizer and this paid when Tito Okello scored a seemingly an offside goal few minutes to normal time.

The goal was later awarded after consultations with the assistant referee.
