The University of Manchester is offering scholarships for Ugandan students on full-time campus-basis. The scholarships cover full tuition fees, return international air fares and living expenses.
Subjects; Scholarships are available in a wide range of subjects including Engineering, Environment, Medical and Life Sciences, Law and Education.
Eligibility
The scholarships are aimed at applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds. Applicants must:
Equity and Merit Scholarships aim to assist talented but economically disadvantaged students from some of the world’s poorest countries. The scholarships are jointly funded by the University and its alumni. The University waives the tuition fee in full and the generosity of alumni covers students’ living costs and flights to the UK.
Applications for September 2013 have now closed. Applications for 2014 entry will reopen again in early 2014. Please check regularly in 2014 for further information.
