Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Enabling Infrastructure & Off sites Package Manager in definition, management and quality of the enabling infrastructure (site preparation for IA, logistics infrastructure, site preparation for well pads).
- Ensure the Enabling Infrastructure (EI) Design Contractor’s engineering activities comply with the project documentation, the schedule, the logistic constraints and remains within budget and safety practices.
- Ensure EI Design for contractor’s engineering design covers consistency, optimization, operability, flexibility and constructability, which implies engineering inter-disciplines check/management.
- Coordinate dedicated studies, workshops and reviews and related reporting in the event of identified gaps, special studies, project technical reviews during the design stage.
- Focal point with the document controller for the monitoring of the EI Design Contractor engineering documents review and associated KPI.
- Report to EI Package Manager on progress and on changes to basis for design, as early as possible, anticipate problems and inform the EI Package Manager accordingly.
- Ensure the monitoring of the civil engineering works related to the enabling infrastructure activities.
- Assist the EI Package Manager in coordinating & follow EI Design contractor’ activities ensuring that defined scope and applicable requirements & specifications are followed in accordance with the schedule of the project.
- Under the responsibility of the Package manager and in relation to the contract engineers, make the necessary clarifications to the documents within scope.
- Organize, technical reviews with EI design contractor & POC engineering team and follow the findings responses including their consolidation.
- Prevent EI Design Contractor stand-by/delays, by ensuring on time responses to engineering queries and request for waiver (if any) and unexpected technical issues, by a proactive and pro-efficient approach, which implies day to day and close coordination with the EI package Manager and the disciplines leaders.
- Ensure the timely review of the EI design Contractor Engineering documents.
- Conduct or consolidate studies leading to technical decision-making and issue recommendation to Project Management.
- Follow-up the monitoring of the engineering documents review chain, liaise directly with project document controller for the follow-up of the KPIs.
- Coordinate EI activities between all stakeholders, Project, Company, and Contractor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Civil engineering degree.
- Minimum 10 years on large onshore project in remote locations. International experience. Experience in contract management. Oil and gas experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, both written and verbally
- Proactive and confident in communicating with others, and ability to influence decisions
- Ability to effectively manage own workload, produce high quality documents and respect deadlines.
- Ability to manage a multiplicity of interfaces.
