Education Minister Jessica Alupo launches 8th National Council for Higher Education Exhibition

Education minister Jessica Alupo (2nd R) at the opening of the NCHE expo at Lugogo.

Education Minister Jessica Alupo officially opened the 8th National Council for Higher Education Exhibition on Thursday 19th March 2015.

The expo is taking place at Lugogo. Over 50 institutions of higher learning are showcasing their services and academic innovations.

The expo is running under the them,” Partnerships in higher education for social transformation”.

While speaking at the opening ceremony, Jessica Alupo noted that Uganda should use this exhibition to promote education and learn from other region’s institutions.

The minister outlined the benefits in participating in the education expo as a platform for expanding the network partnerships for cross regional education because of regional integration.

She promised government’s support towards uplifting the education exhibition by offering career guidance  to students and the youths so that they make informed choices at higher institutions.

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
