The star’s first single from his upcoming album will be unveiled this month and Ed’s written a ditty for the occasion
Justin Bieber is counting down to the release of his new single with the help of some very famous friends -and Ed Sheeran has hit it out of the park.
The singer-songwriter has thrown his support behind the pop star as he looks to revitalise his career with What Do You Mean, the first track from his upcoming album.
Ed has gone about his promo in best way – he’s come up with a little ditty to remind fans how long there is until the song is released.
With a not-so-subtle ’17 DAYS’ sign taped to his shirt, the star sings: “What do you mean, since you’re running out of time, what do you mean, 17 days time”
Bieber shared the video on his own Instagram account, as he continues a daily countdown with help from a different guest each time.
Kicking it off with 30 days to go, Ryan Seacrest announced: “Here we go, good news. Big news – the single called What Do You Mean is coming out. So, start the countdown clocks.”
Ruby Rosefollowed at 29 days, whilst a lighthearted video from James Corden kept it rolling before both J Balvin and Mariah Carey got involved before the 4th day was through.
An awkward – but hilarious – bath clip from Lil Dicky kept the countdown going as he made reference to Justin’s underwear adverts.
Kylie Jenner recently celebrated her 18th birthday, but she’s also recognised her friend’s own milestone as he prepares for the release of the new single – whilst even Shaquille O’Neal joined in the fun, even if he spelt Justin’s name wrong.
Travis Scott was up next at 24 days, followed by Ashley Benson at 23 and Ariana Grande as the countdown nears the final month.
A brilliantly harrowing parody of Whitesnake’s Here I Go Again video clocked in at 21, with Halsey up next before Big Sean got in on the action.
Even the Little Mix girls have showed their support for Justin’s big comeback, before Ed went and stole the limelight with his amazing tune -Madison Beer was next, but it couldn’t quite reach the same heights.
