E-LEARNING BENEFITS UCU COMMUNITY

For the past few years, Uganda Christian University has adopted the use of e Learning that involves utilizing electronic technologies to access educational curricula outside of a traditional classroom.

With an aim of making resources more accessible to students, the university through e Learning now brings learning closer to the students by availing notes and any other learning material online.

This with no doubt has proved to be of great benefit to the entire UCU community.

The platform is more convenient  since students can access information anytime and anywhere without having to move and read hard copy books.

It is also more interactive because it contains many links to various study material such as video and audio clips so students come in contact with a lot of content that betters their learning.

Using the platform  saves times but most importantly it  facilitates self pace learning that allows learning to be inclusive for all sorts of people, both the slow and quick learners.

Therefore, with the e resources such as e journals, eBooks, online databases, the open discovery system, the overall aim for the platform is to provide an excellent learning experience for students in a conducive environment.
