Job Summary: The Demand Manager will articulate business ideas; suggestions and problems in technology terms and develop business cases to convert them into deliverable solutions
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality products development solutions
- Completeness, accuracy and efficiency of defined processes and procedures
- Adherence to approved operating standards and methodologies
- Efficient delivery of solutions in line with defined of SLAs
- Quality and comprehensiveness of reports generated
- Post implementation project review and audit results
- Customer Satisfaction

- Coach and mentor direct reports to ensure staff motivation is high
- Ensure performance and compliance obligations the procurement division are met
- Direct and monitor work of subordinates
- Ensure the team is led; motivated and rewarded to achieve key performance areas
- Identify staff training and development needs and implements necessary actions
- Participate in cross functional teams
- Recruit staff for appointments
- Set goals and objectives for direct reports, monitor progress and maintain motivation
- Set up appropriate structure to meet departmental management objectives
- Apply market research in an optimal way to continually improve processes and procedures
- Communicate research results and recommendations to the relevant areas of the business to build a competitive advantage
- Continually improve existing processes and procedures to enhance effectiveness, efficiency and performance
- Provide innovative solutions to ensure that functionality and business improvement is delivered on time according to best practice
- Recommend creative and innovative solutions to enhance sales channel area’s performance
- Review business process and system performance in assigned projects and find creative ways to enhance this performance or perform the functions in a different way
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the MTN Uganda Demand Manager job placement should hold a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably IT/ Science / Commercial)
- Project management certification –Preferred
- Five years of relevant experience
- Three years of project management experience
