Mengo Hospital was founded in 1897 in Kampala, and is the oldest hospital in Uganda. It currently serves as an urban community hospital that provides modern medical care. Mengo Hospital provides comprehensive care including radiology, obstetrics, dentistry, orthopedics, and surgery. Additionally, Mengo Hospital provides critical training and education to health professionals through its various programs in midwifery and nursing, health sciences, and laboratory technology. Mengo Hospital also has a dedicated research and development team that works to find new solutions to health issues in Uganda.

Job Summary:  The Data Entrant will ensure timely reporting of accurate and quality Data.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Updating ART Registers
• Making weekly Surge report for HTC OPD and IPD, TLD transition and HTS Screening
• Making monthly HMIS 105 Essential Medicines report (Sec 7 to 11 and Sec 16 to
• 24)
• Making monthly Finer reports for GBV, HTS- SELF, HTS-SNS, HTS Screening
• Making monthly Nutrition report
• Making all monthly KP reports
• Making HMIS 106a report for 1A- DSDM, Nutrition, Community referral reports and Sec 1D – PrEP report
• Making HIBRID Quarterly Finer Report (HTS Children of Sex Workers, KP and PP
• Treatment Viral Load and Retention)
• Making Narrative (KP- HTS Cascade, KP treatment Cascade, Community
• Linkage Framework) report
• Making Care and Treatment Regimen Optimization 1! and 2™4 report and
• Nutrition Services report
• Making DSDM quarterly reports
• Monitor and maintain Computer Systems, Network and printers for the
• department
• IT support and training staff on how to use the System (EMR System)
• Running regular System backup (EMR)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline from a reputable institution
• Two years of experience in a similar role
