Courses at Uganda Technology and Management University

Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU)

The Academic Registrar of Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) invites applications for admission to undergraduate degree programmes for the academic year 2013/2014 September intake.

The deadline for submission of application is June 30th 2013. All students (Ugandans and International applicants) pay the same tuition fees and functional fees per semester.

The functional fees per student are Uganda Shillings 500,000 per year or Uganda Shillings 250,000 per semester.

Admission Requirements

  • For Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) applicants, they must posses at least two principal passes at the same sitting
  • Diploma Applicants must possess at least 2nd class (lower division) Diploma from any recognized Institution
  • For Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), applicants must possess a CCNA certificate from a recognized institution and at least one principal pass and two subsidiary passes at the same sitting in UACE
  • Candidates who have successfully passed Mature Age Entry Exam from authorized examination institutions can apply for the appropriate programmes.

  1. Students can download the application forms from HERE or pick physical copies from Twed Towers (above Yusuf Lule road, opposite Fairway Hotel), Plot 10, Kafu Road, Kampala, on Ground Floor, Reception
  2. Applicants will be required to pay a none-refundable application fee of Uganda Shillings 50,000 to any of the following university accounts.

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
