Job Title: Construction Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Investigate sites to determine and evaluate construction conditions.
- Prepare engineering calculations required for the design of projects and supervise the drafting of plans.
- Produce detailed designs and documentation for the construction, implementation, and monitoring of civil engineering projects.
- Organize the delivery of materials, plant machinery and equipment needed for the construction project and supervise labour.
- Develop detailed programmes for the coordination of site activities.
- Work with other engineers, foremen, surveyor, Safety and environmental Officer or any other staff involved in the project, in a teamwork and professionalism.
- Assist with the computerized design of civil engineering projects.
- Coordinate and direct research, development and testing of materials, processes or systems related to civil engineering works.
- Research, advise on and plan the control and minimization of air, water and solid waste pollution, and the management of water resources.
- Supervise the testing and commissioning of completed works.
- Process, analyze and interpret reports on loading, labour, equipment, productivity, quality, materials, and performance.
- Analyze risks associated with Safety procedures to be implemented on the works and natural disasters (including fires and floods), and design structures and services to meet appropriate standards.
- Comply and ensure compliance with safety procedures implemented by the company.
- Supervise the testing and commissioning of completed works.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with additional qualification in REH Thermal Designer Course, Gas Designer, ISO 9001 I Auditor Lead Quality, Integrated Management systems implementation course
- Qualified Assessor of the sustainability Assessment system SBTool.
- Ten years of proven work experience in construction projects.
- Advanced knowledge in engineering software of AutoCAD, CyperCAD, good knowledge in concrete, MS Project, SAP.
