Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan, implement and monitor the implementation of tea/Coffee agronomic services in line with organization strategy and business plan.
• Develop strategies for the implementation of green leaf quality standards and monitor the implementation and compliance to the standards
• Manage the performance, development, welfare and benefits of staff in line with HR policies, union terms and conditions
• Plan, monitor and evaluate green leaf purchase and delivery to the factory
• Plan and prepare the field department annual budgets, plans and monitor their performance in line with the business strategy
• Establish relationships with and maintain relationships with both workers and out growers and key stakeholders in line with the business strategy
• Plan, and monitor the company forestry activities and maintain adequate levels of wood supply to the factory
• Plan and monitor the Company owned tea estate operations and ensure high tea production

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Sciences Post Graduate qualification in Management will be an advantage
• At least four years’ experience in Coffee/Tea
• Plantation Management, with at least two years at senior management level
• Knowledge of; Nursery Management, Coffee Husbandry practices, Soil Conservation,
• Forestry as well as Health, Safety and Environmental standards and practices
