JOB DETAILS:
Hunger Fighters Uganda, is WFP Cooperating Partners for General Food
Assistance in Nakivale/Oruchinga and Kyangwali Refugee settlements. HFU
wishes to recruit staff/volunteers to fill the positions tenable in the
GFA project implemented in ISINGIRO and Kikuube Districts .
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise of all settlement CBT activities.
•
Supervision field operation through Provision of technical oversight
through periodic visits to monitor and review all aspects of the Cash
programming and systems as well as to provide appropriate feedback and
recommendation to the relevant authorities in the project
implementation.
• Manage Cash project staff under his/her portfolio with support from other response management.
• Represent Hunger Fighters Uganda (HFU) in any meetings related to Cash program in the area of portfolio as necessary.
•
Ensure all documentation and accountability requirements are in place
for management and Donors/partners and or meet the audit standards.
•
Ensure that proper Cash handling procedure and accountability systems
are in place including the maintenance of all required records and
documentation and installation and operation.
• Ensure that cash-based humanitarian accountability systems are in place, functioning complaints and Response Mechanisms.
• Act as the HFU focal person and representative during missions and at coordination meetings as authority may determine.
•
Take part in CBT project design, proposal writing, budgeting process,
and engaging various donors during the negotiation process.
•
Facilitate capacity building of the Cash team to meet established
standards through on-the-job training, workshops, mentoring and other
appropriate methods.
• Keenly review weekly/monthly/ quarterly reports and ensure they are submitted in a timely manner.
•
Liaise and meet with donors and other programming stakeholders for the
purposes of networking, information sharing and nurturing partnerships.
• Perform any other task as may be determined by the relevant authorities.

Job Qualifications:
•
The ideal candidate for this Position for Cash Assistance Manager Job
opportunity should have a Minimum Bachelor’s Degree of statistics of
economic, accounting, and Social Sciences from any recognized university
and 3 years of experience.
• A post-secondary certificate in
Community Psychology, Social Work and Social Administration, Social
Sciences or any other related field.
• Experience and knowledge of security operations technical processes.
• Previous experience in supporting security operations efforts as directed
• Fluency in English & Swahili language.
