Canadian Government Announces $147.9 Million Grant for Foreign Students

The Canadian Government has declared an amazing opportunity for students of Canada as well as the international students’ panel to get scholarships and funding for their studies abroad. This is an amazing opportunity for students who are aspiring to take their studies further but do not possess the resources to pursue their education abroad.

Minister Jim Carr stated that over $147.9 million dollars would be invested for five years program. The finding procedure is planned and initiated by the International Education society with the sole aim of sending eligible and talented students abroad to create a strong career and excel in their academics.

The funding will be given to students via an open competition; the winners in this competition will get a scholarship worth $5000 to $10000. Along with providing scholarships to the eligible students, they will also be granted with faster visa processing possibilities as well.

This initiative is not only benefiting students who aspire to study abroad but also helping Canada’s education system partially. They are taking strong initiative in sending efficient students abroad and also getting capable international students to study in Canada.

This funding initiative is hence regarded as a mutual benefit system. For example, France has got 33% of students who travel abroad to study. Hence this funding initiative will help the universities and colleges of Canada welcome a number of international students, such as the French pupils aspiring to go out and carry on their academics.

Traveling abroad and getting enrolled in the course of a well-known university outside is not only going to enrich a student’s academic situation but also help them evolve as a person. It provides them with multiple opportunities, and there is undoubtedly a lot more exposure when we travel out of our country to study.

But despite all the benefits of studying abroad, many efficient students cannot afford the fees structure. To help them out this funding initiative is really a thoughtful approach.

The world is evolving, and so is education. There is already a lot of competition out there and getting the best training from the best institution is what everyone needs. In such conditions providing education and helping the eligible ones who are not being able to afford the finances to carry on their education is really important.

The funding program of the Canadian government here is setting an example of serving the society by helping the youths grow and contribute wisdom to bring the better out of it.

Minister Carr stated that “It is really important to expose yourself to unfamiliar environments and learn the best from it. Traveling abroad and studying there enables students to experience a cultural amalgamation which not only enriches their knowledge but also shapes them as a better individual for the future.

We are really grateful for helping out all the young minds who aspire to become better and more knowledgeable individuals by gathering the best educational training and make the most out of the scholarship as well”.
