The media challenge has attracted student teams from 10 journalism institutions to compete in different categories including news anchoring, features writing and photography.
Student teams have over the last months been preparing at their universities and colleges reporting different stories, doing anchoring at NTV studios and working on different features stories related to child poverty.
The overall winner will get a one year fellowship at NTV, while other winners will take away camera, computers and news anchoring opportunities.
