Makerere University (Mak) in partnership with Moi University and University of Bergen received a grant from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) to establish a project entitled “HI-TRAIN: Health Informatics Training and Research in East Africa for Improved Health Care”. HI-TRAIN is under the NORHED programme within Norad.
HI-TRAIN now invites applications for a full-time two year Masters programme – Master of Science in Health Informatics.
The Masters programme is tenable at Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya. The programme will begin in the academic year 2015/2016 in September 2015.
The deadline for the applications is Monday 4th June 2015 at 3:00 PM EAT

Applicants should submit their application and CV to the School of Computing & Informatics Technology, Makerere University; attention to: Dr. Josephine Nabukenya (HI-Train Project Coordinator). For applicants at the College of Health Sciences, please submit your applications to Dr. Nazarius Tumwesigye Mbona, School of Public Health, Makerere University.

Course cost: Kshs. 174,000/= per year for East African Students and Kshs. 209,640/= per year for non East Africa. There are 10 scholarships for Makerere University Staff.
