Makerere university students voted Bwowe Ivan as their new Guild President. Ivan emerged winner with 6943 votes.
He contested as an independent candidate to beat seven others in the guild race.
Sarah Aseru (UYD) got 1376 votes
Lillian Aber (Independent) got 868 votes
Phillip Musiime (Independent) secured 972 votes
Nicholas Nanyeenya (Independent) had 421 votes
Samuel Komakech got 59 votes
Julius Tabaaro (Independent) became second last with 36 votes.
Eddy Kintu (Independent) tailed with 29 votes
