Burnley 0-1 Arsenal: Alexis Sanchez scores stoppage-time penalty to secure a late Victory over Burnley on 26 November 2017.

Arsenal claimed yet another late victory over Burnley as Alexis Sanchez converted a stoppage time penalty that sent the North Londoners into top four positions at Turf Moor.

Burnley centre-back James Tarkowski, brilliant throughout the match, made the critical error little over a minute before full-time as he pushed Aaron Ramsey in the area, handing the Gunners a surprise win that takes them above Tottenham and Liverpool and into the top four.

Sean Dyche’s side had defended excellently throughout the match but couldnt contain the Arsene Wenger’sside.Arsenal were without an ill Mesut OzilAlex Iwobi preferred to Jack Wilshere.

Last season it was Laurent Kolscienly’s winner, which appeared both offside and handball, and this time it was the outstanding James Tarkowski’s push on Aaron Ramsey which swung the game towards Arsenal.
