Bayimba Cultural Foundation organizes a range of events with a view of uplifting arts and culture, especially visual and performing arts in Uganda and East Africa.
The are organizing Bayimba International Festival of the Arts to be held at the National Theater from 20th-22nd September 2013.
Entrance fee is only 1000 Uganda shillings. Only miss if you can but it’s not worth missing, you can start saving now.
In 2010, it introduced a series of one-day Bayimba Regional Festivals of the Arts that are organized annually in towns across Uganda.
The festivals provide a platform for artistic talents from the regions in Uganda.
Bayimba Cultural Foundation aims at enhancing access to artistic and cultural expressions countrywide by supporting the development of the local arts scene.
This year Bayimba Cultural Foundation has held four regional festivals in the towns. The exciting multidisciplinary Bayimba Regional Festivals were held in Gulu on 6th.April.2013, Jinja on 11th. May.2013, Mbarara 1st.june.2013 and Mbale on the 6th.july.
