Job Summary: To work closely with the Manager Bancassurance in the development and growth of Bancassurance technical aspects of business acquisition, accuracy of values to be insured, accuracy of quotations, policy wordings and insurance coverage, retention of acquired business through strong renewal engagements both internally and externally.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execution of day-to-day insurance activities which entails cross-selling of insurance products with bank products to generate new business.
- Take responsibility for both life and non-life business placement and ensure end to end process of all the risks placed through the bank.
- The incumbent will ensure timeliness of quotation issuance.
- Actively participate in insurance sales activation programs organised by branch management and insurers in conjunction with the principal officer.
- Ensure Timely resolution of customer complaints and queries
- Keep track of client renewals (prepare renewal notices, communicating with insurers on any amendments or enhancements.
- Reviewing the daily trackers and sales made by the BSOs
- Training and sensitizing branches on insurance product knowledge
- Any other roles as assigned.
Financial Responsibility
- Accountable for the growth of Insurance sales revenue as will be agreed using di¬erent parameters.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must hold a Business degree in finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Management, humanities or any relevant field.
- Relevant Practical training in sales in the financial services sector
- Certificate of proficiency in Insurance or any Insurance related discipline shall be an added advantage.
- Experience in Life or general insurance sales.
- Good selling, negotiation & influencing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to identify and analyse business opportunities and make value-adding recommendations.
- Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
- Strong networking and relationship management skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
