Unai Emery’s Arsenal hosts high-flying Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening with Liverpool aiming at extending their unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Arsenal are aiming to extend an eight-match unbeaten run in the Premier League as the Gunners were last defeated in the Match Day 2 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Both teams have been in superb form during the opening games of the campaign, with Liverpool looks to have improved their defensive errors with Van Dijk and Gomez transformed The Reds defensive. Meanwhile, new Gunners manager Unai Emery has impressed supporters with his tactics.

Arsenal are looking for their first Premier League victory over Liverpool in seven attempts (D3 L3). This is their longest such run against the Reds since a sequence of 12 between 1994 and 2000.

The last five Premier League meetings between these teams have produced 27 goals, an average of 5.4 per match.

Roberto Firmino has both scored and assisted in each of his last three Premier League matches against Arsenal and could now become the first player to do so in four consecutive matches against an opponent in the competition. Steven Gerrard and Theo Walcott have also achieved this feat in three successive clashes against Newcastle United and West Ham United respectively.

Arsenal will be without Lorent Koscielny, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Mohamed Elneny due to injuries, with Matteo Guendouzi being suspended. Nacho Monreal, Sead Kolasinac and Hector Bellerin are all doubted.

Oxlade-Chamberlain and Divock Origi are unavailable for the Reds, while Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson are a big doubt for the game.
