About EGPAF:
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) seeks to end pediatric HIV/AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs. We are a global leader in the fight against pediatric HIV and AIDS, working in 15 countries and at 7,000 sites around the world to prevent the transmission of HIV to children, and to help those already HIV infected. Today, because of the highly successful work of the Foundation and its partners over the last 25 years, pediatric AIDS has been virtually eliminated in the United States and new infections in children have declined by 51% worldwide.
Job Summary: The Program Officer will be working as part of the global cooperative agreement for technical assistance (TA) services, a five-year CDC- funded cooperative agreement implemented by the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF). The Program Officer will support the team to provide comprehensive and cost-effective TA, capacity building, and program implementation expertise for PEPFAR and Global Fund-supported global health activities in the three programmatic areas of: 1) prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT), 2) HIV care and treatment clinical services for adults and children, and 3) HIV pediatric care and treatment. The Program Officer will enhance data usage from Option B+ weekly reports and guide efforts to improve retention by tracking of lost clients on Option’ B+. MOH will lead the implementation of activity and it will require ; coordinating all key stakeholders including: MOH, EGAPF, IPs and CDC teams for its successful implementation.
