Apply for September intake at Virtual University of Uganda

The Virtual University of Uganda

The Virtual University of Uganda (VUU) is calling for applications for the September intake. Virtual University offers online courses and it is the first online university in East Africa.

The Virtual University of Uganda currently offers four diploma / degree programmes.

The University was licenced by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education. Their next Intake for all programmes will start on 2nd September 2013

Programmes offered

COURSE DURATION
The Post Graduate Diplomas take two years to complete. The Master’s programmes are thirty (30) month programmes: two years for courses and a further six months to submit a dissertation.

Qualification requirements

In order to qualify for admission to the Master’s dissertation, applicants need to have completed ten courses leading to a postgraduate diploma with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Qualified candidates may proceed to the Master’s dissertation which will be supervised by a recognised regional or international expert in the field of study chosen.

Apply online by completing an online application form and attach all relevant documents such as scanned copies of your certified academic transcripts and a PDF copy of your CV.

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
