Masters Scholarships

The Friends of Maastricht University (UM) is offering scholarship for international students (South America, Africa or Asia.) for 2014-2015. Scholarship is available for pursuing master’s programs in Globalisation and Development Studies at Arts and Social Sciences at Maastricht University. The scholarship is meant to be a contribution in the tuition fee of the master’s program at UM with a maximum of 12 months. Application deadline is 1st February 2014.

Course Level: This scholarship is available for pursuing master’s degree level at Maastricht University in Netherlands.

Eligibility: The Friends Scholarship offers subsidies for young talented students are participating in the Master Globalization and Development Studies of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Maastricht University starting in September 2014.
Note: candidates must meet all the requirements of the application procedure. Applicants should hold a passport from an emerging country in South America, Africa or Asia.

Scholarship Description: The Friends of Maastricht University (UM) is an initiative of the University Fund Limburg/SWOL. The University Fund seeks private funding to allow talented international students to follow master’s programs at Maastricht University. Gifts and donations are brought together in the Friends Scholarship. This scholarship provides an opportunity to experience the Problem-Based Learning educational model at UM, but also gives the scholarship recipient the opportunity to learn from other cultures by becoming a part of UM’s international academic community.
