Scholarships: The Madhvani Foundation annual scholarships scheme will this year support 150 students at university level.
Interested students can now apply for these scholarships worth 650 million shillings.
The scholarship covers tuition for students from second year studying undergraduate courses and for those studying postgraduate courses, it covers the entire course cost.
The chairperson Madhvani Foundation Scholarship Committee , Anthony Butele said the scholarship goes to only Ugandan students who are bright but underprivileged.
He added that the award of the scholarship is based on merit, competence, candidates’ ability and financial status of parents, guardians and for students pursuing their studies at Ugandan universities.
How to apply for the scholarship: The application forms can be accessed from the company’s website at www.madhvanifoundation.com or at the different universities.
Deadline for applying for the scholarship is 31st of May 2014.
