Its objective is to promote excellence, guarantee equal opportunities and eliminate economic barriers so that students can access postgraduate studies in the best universities in the world.
The Regional Government of Andalusia is the government of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. It consists of the Parliament of Andalusia, the President of the Government of Andalusia and the Government Council.
Course Level: Fellowships are available to pursue master scholarship program.
Study Subject: Fellowships are awarded to learn any of the courses offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: Up to 34 scholarships are available.
Number of Scholarships: One of the novelties of this 2017 call is the downward adjustment of the income thresholds from which the beneficiaries of the Talentia Master’s scholarship will have to pay part of the tuition. The objective is to optimize the granting of incentives so that those who have achieved significant income in the two previous years contribute part of the cost of the most costly programs.
In this way, the aids are modulated with three basic scenarios. In the first case, which is the majority of the applicants, if the beneficiary’s income in the two previous years does not exceed € 7,455.14 per year (once the Public Indicator of Multiple Effects Income, IPREM), 100% of the registration fee is subsidized. When the income exceeds the IPREM up to twice, the aid will cover 100% up to 40,000 euros of enrollment and 50% of the amount that exceeds that amount. From this cap, in the last two financial years, 100% will be subsidized up to 20,000 euros of enrollment and 50% of the amount above this amount.
In addition to the tuition fees, the aids cover travel, subsistence and accommodation expenses, in amounts that vary according to the centre and the speciality. For travel, the beneficiaries receive between 300 and 1,000 euros depending on the destination, while for maintenance are established amounts of between 1,200 and 1,600 euros per month net, in addition to 1,500 for initial expenses of installation in the country. In this way, the supplementary provisions can amount to 52,900 euros.
