American Rapper Kanye West and Wife in Uganda to record an Album

American hip-hop star Kanye West on Friday October 12 2018 landed in Uganda with wife Kim Kardashian and Children.

Kanye West arrived in a private jet and was later flown by helicopter to Chobe Lodge Safari.

American rapper, Kanye West and  his wife arrive at Chobe Safari Lodge aboard a helicopter.

Kanye West revealed that he would be travelling to Africa to record an album which happens to be the reason why he is in Uganda.

“It’s just a full Ye album and those five albums I dropped earlier were like Superhero Rehabilitation and now the Alien Ye is fully back in mode… We’re going to Africa in two weeks to record. I felt this energy when I was in Chicago. I felt the roots. We have to go to what is known as Africa”, he told the American press.

Information Minister, Frank Tumwebaze took to his Twitter page to welcome Kanye West and his family as they landed into Uganda.

“Welcome Kanye West to the Pearl of Africa Beautiful Uganda. Thank you for choosing the home of: the Equator, Chimps, Rich Cultures, Great People, Mountain Gorillas, Rwenzori ranges and many other gifts of nature in our Flora & Fauna species,” he tweeted.
