Akram Ndyenze kills his uncle over Shs12,000

Police in Kalungu district are holding Akram Ndyenze accused of hacking his uncle to death over Shs12,000.

The deceased is Kuteesa Jimmy, a resident of Bugomola Lwabenge in Kalungu district.

Acording to the locals, Ndyenze cut his uncle’s neck with a panga following a quarrel over money. They say that the quarrel started when Ndyenze demanded Shs 12000Shs, which he gave to his uncle.

Ndyenze fatally cut his uncle after the quarrel became heated. He was nearly lynched by the locals but managed to escape and run to the police.
