Agriculture Graduates Acquire Advanced Farming Skills in Israel

The training was a result of  Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Uganda in 2016 and is fully funded by the Israel government.

Students from 13 Ugandan institutions were awarded with certificate. The Universities are; Makerere University, Kyambogo University, Bishop Stuart University, Busoga University, Bukalasa Agricultural College, Mbale University, Gulu University, Busitema University, College of Natural Sciences, Afrisa College of agriculture and environmental science among others.

“I joined Danzige through Bishop Stuart University, I feel good here, working is enjoyable and I am happy to have gained more experience in farming.”Ms Manige Witness said.

Over 1000 Uganda students from several universities have benefited from the initiative according to Mr Issa Agaba Mugabo, the East and Central Africa regional coordinator.
