Title: Accounts Assistant
Department: Finance and Administration
Reports to: Finance and Administration Manager
Job Summary
To plan, direct and control the financial resources of the Kingdom and ensure sound and overall financial management and performance in line with the Kingdom strategic plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Reconciliation
• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
• Process reimbursement forms
• Prepare bank deposits
• Enter financial transactions into internal database
• Check spread sheets for accuracy
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Issue invoices to suppliers and external clients or as needed
• Review and file payroll documents
Reporting
• Create and update expense reports
• Participate in preparation of periodic financial reports
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits
Academic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics
Experience
• Atleast 2 years in similar role
Other attributes
• Good numerical skills — statistical analysis, financial modeling and analysis at a high level
• IT — use of specialized accounting software
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication
• High level of creativity and innovation
• Good planning and organization skills
