Account Remediation Makers job Opportunities at Barclays Bank

Job Title: Account Remediation Makers (BA1) – 00175949 (Several Career Opportunities)

Job Summary: The Account Remediation Makers will be members of the Liabilities Operations team under the Account Maintenance section, providing key support in the update and maintenance of customer information and instructions. This role will include but not be limited to updating of customer instructions and data into the core banking system as instructed by the team manager or account maintenance authorisors.

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Review and update of customer instructions received daily: 80%
  2. Query Resolution: 10%
  3. Snap Checks and other controls: 10%
  • Update all customer information as per instructions received from the branches
  • On a daily basis, provide accurate and timely MI to team supervisor / manager for accounts own offer technical support required by the business as it relates to account maintenance as may be requested from time to time
  • Quickly respond to and resolve issues raised by the team supervisor
  • Adhere to the service level agreement (SLA) between the Liabilities Operations team and the business
  • Adhere to the IRM policies and project procedures for security of customer data
  • Perform regular snap checks as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidates for the Barclays Banking Jobs should  preferably hold University degrees or equivalent qualifications with good pass in English and Mathematics at ‘O’ level
  • The applicant must have worked in a bank for at least three months’ working experience preferably in a banking environment
  • Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in office applications (MS Word ,Excel & Outlook)
  • The ideal candidates for the Barclays bank jobs should have a wide understanding of bank products
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Good knowledge of KYC and related policies.
  • Good understanding of account maintenance requirements
  • Good knowledge of KYC, IRM and related policies
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to account opening is preferred
  • Customer service ethics is highly preferred
