NKumba University Football Club (NUFC) defeated a united team of Freshers 2-0 yesterday at the main campus sports ground.

Paul Luwobi and Ivan Ssonko scored in the first and second halves respectively to help NKumba University Football Club race to victory.

The latter scored from the white spot.

The match was part of the Trials sessions where NKumba University Football Club technical bench will pick up new talents to add to ‘Harks’ team.

The NUFC prepares Makerere University in one of the quarterfinal games of the national University Football League set next month.

Kyambogo will play Makerere University Business School (MUBS) in other quarterfinal.
