Contract type: 12 months.
Duties
• Planning and overseeing of all project activities including solution workshops, marketing training workshops, refresher trainers, Solution and quarterly update video production and M&E activities
• Reviewing team deliverables (daily/weekly/monthly) and ensure quality control, including the M&E data collection and recording, training equipment purchases and field trainings, marketing trainings and the production of solution and quarterly videos and the financial tracking of the project
• Drafting all activity reports (quarterly, monthly and any other report as needed) -this will also require the assessment of financial reporting of the project by working closely with the accountant
• Liaise with client staff in Uganda and abroad. This includes in-person meetings, Skype calls or email communication
• Working closely with the local project partners to implement the project goals and activities
• Organizing and leading project meetings at the Solution Centre and representing Sawa World at project meetings outside of the office
• Having weekly review meetings of activities, goals and challenges with the Project Team and Country Director
• Managing basic financial management of the project activities and working with the accountant to record all project-related transactions
Key Qualifications
• Completed a university degree in International Development, Project Management or other related fields
• Has 3 to 5 years of experience in developing impactful programming for vulnerable youth and communities
• Has managed small to medium-size project teams ranging from 5 to 10 people
• Able to travel across Uganda and work on weekends and evenings when needed
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills and a solid working experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Has a professional and trustworthy personality

• Has a strong passion for eradicating poverty using local solutions
Salary range UGX 1,000,000 (gross income)
Job Education Requirements: Completed a university degree in International Development, Project Management or other related fields
