The board accuses Nyanzi of commiting cyber crime by using her social media pages especially facebook to direct abusive words towards the first lady who also doubles as the Education minister.

“When did I ever deny speaking the truth about a fool? The truth liberates! I will defend the truths that I speak,” Nyanzi had said last year when she was arrested over the charges.

However, the Makerere University staff appeals tribunal had earlier this month, ordered the university administration to reinstate Dr Stella Nyanzi and pay for the damages caused by the charges.
