Applications are invited for the joint postdoctoral research position in Sport & Exercise Medicine to study in South Africa. The area of postdoctoral research will be in the molecular and cellular basis of sport and exercise medicine.

ISEM offers several courses in Sport and Exercise Medicine while conducting ground-breaking research and translating this knowledge back to the community and the medical field.

Applicants should have obtained a PhD degree in the past 5 years and have a strong background in exercise science, physiology, or molecular and cellular biology. A good understanding of exercise interventions in chronic disease states would be an advantage to the applicant.
