Arsenal have reportedly completed the signing of Chelsea‘s Petr Cech according to daily mail.
Talks over an £11million deal have been ongoing since the season ended but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has finally made the 33-year-old his first signing of the summer.
The veteran goalkeeper has made over 300 appearances for the Blues and could face his former club on August 2 in the Charity Shield.
Manchester United,Paris Saint-Germain and London rivals Tottenham hotspurs were all linked with the signing of the Chelsea goalkeeper but the player’s preference was to stay in London making it possible for Arsenal to sign him.
Meanwhile David Ospina has confirmed that he is in talks with Fenerbahce ahead of a transfer away from Arsenal.

Despite taking over from Wojciech Szczesny as Arsenal’s number one goalkeeper, the Colombian’s future is in doubt after the signing of Petr Cech.
Ospina who representing his country in the Copa America is set to leave Arsenal less than a year after he joined, with the 26-year-old confirming that his agent is currently in talks with Turkish side Fenerbahce.
‘They are dealing with my agent,’ he said.
‘At the moment the only thoughts I have are for Colombia. I will not betray my team.’
