Job Title:  Emergency Response Coordinator

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Maintain and test the emergency response rooms, the on-duty officer (ODO) system and provide emergency cell training in the Company.
• Regularly review the site Contingency plans and ensure consistency.
• Update the Medical evacuation (MEDVAC) procedure and assess its effectiveness.
• Ensure that all contractor emergency procedures are available and up to date as well as audit the implementation of Health & Safety procedures

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The applicant must hold a good Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering
• At least three years’ experience in Health and Safety
• Possess the ability to work under pressure
• Past exposure and experience in emergency preparedness and crisis management
• Good working knowledge in incident reporting
• Excellent analytical and report writing skills
• Good organisational skills
