Makerere University has many rules and regulations including those that are known and those that seem obvious to the students. Though it is said that rules are there to be broken, some students have ignored the regulations. Badru Katumba brings us the 9 most ignored student regulations at Makerere University;
No student shall allow a person of the opposite sex to enter or remain in his-her after 9.00p.m.

No student shall sleep out of the university during semester session.
Any student who gets drunk either within or outside the university by the voluntary consumption of alcohol shall be guilty of an offence.

Permission required to stay out for a weekend where no lectures are involved shall be granted by the warden. But hoe many ask for permission?

Rooms must be swept by occupants by 8.00a.m each day.

Every student shall, upon joining the university  be subjected to medical examination.

Dressing in a provocative manner constitutes to an offence.

Making noise from any sources shall constitute an offence.

No student shall undertake activities outside the university during semester session without prior permission of the dean of the school.
