Job Title:  Project Directors (6 Career Jobs)

The Diocese of Luweero (Anglican Church of Uganda) is working in partnership with Compassion International in the Ministry of Nurturing Poor Children, and releasing them from poverty in Jesus name.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience needed for the job: 

• The applicant should hold at least Bachelor’s Degree and or Diploma in Development Studies, Social Work, Education, Business Studies, Social Sciences, Community Psychology or Guidance and Counselling and Finance.
• A minimum of three or more years’ working experience with faith-based (local church) projects.
• Past exposure and experience in child and community development work or knowledge of child Sponsorship/Donor mechanisms.
• Excellent computer literacy skills and knowledge in Basic Accounting skills.
• Detailed working knowledge and practice in planning, monitoring and evaluation of community based projects.
• Proven experience in advocacy, and partnership building.
• Proven degree of integrity in personal and public life in line with the Christian values.
• Should be prepared to work beyond normal working hours as will be required.
• The ideal candidates must be Born Again Christian Professionals aged between 25-35 years.
